Synopsis:

 An ambitious teen develops special soil samples that make plants grow rapidly in attempts to help her tree depleted neighborhood and younger brother's severe asthma. With the aid of a zany classmate, she gains unwanted attention from the Department of Agriculture. They offer to boost her botany research which raises questions about their motives.
